Our Story

From a Clapham basement to a room in BSK.

In 1963, two brothers opened a salon in south London and changed what a haircut could be. Sixty years later that training still travels — through academies, through standards, through the way a stylist is taught to hold a section.

This branch carries that. But it is not a branch office. It is a room run by people who live here, who know which streets flood in monsoon, who remember what you asked for last time without opening a file.

That is the part no brand book can hand you. It is the part we are proudest of.

Walked in

Box-dye dark brown, three years of it, and a photo of a colour that would have needed bleach from root to tip.

What we decided

Hand-painted balayage, lifted two levels at the ends only, then a gloss to take the brass out. The roots stay hers, so it grows out without a line.
